"I invented Post-It notes," is the quote from "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion" I always think of when I realize how useful the little stickies really are!
Over the holiday weekend I enjoyed good food and some much needed time with my mom. Times like these allow me to relax and really "let my hair down". It's when my "hair is down" that the ideas for subject-matter for my blog come at me like flying darts, which is a great thing, except that I think I can remember ALL of them. Then I get to the laptop and it occurs to me that I should have Post-Its in my possession, or at least close by, at all times. I had at least 4 ideas, one of which I was going to enter late last night but found the sheer exhaustion to be too much for me to write through. So those ideas are long gone...
I have suffered from Mommy-brain since carrying Jay and it's only gotten worse with time, so why I even consider retaining ideas an option...escapes me. The cost of Post-Its is a tiny price to pay to have a nice, brightly colored "brain" in every room of my house!
