Blog Entry about Blogging

This is my way of patting myself on the back because when I first started blogging, earlier this year, I told myself I would write Monday through Friday which would come to about 20 entries a month. Well hot-dog, I officially have 21 entries (not including this one, not a real entry) for the month of April! Although some days I did write 2 or 3 entries, who's counting? As long as I was able to amass more than the measley 14 I wrote the past few months, I am a happy camper! Cheers to me, I did it and I'm gon' do it again! We'll see how May goes :)

So I'm a blog junky. I have a list of the bloggers I enjoy reading in my "free" time, for lack of a better term, that help inspire my own entries. They are all moms, excluding my good buddy Ashley whose blog just makes me laugh and reminds me of life pre-kiddos. She also gives me a glimpse into life as a professional and writer who can write without having to stop the creative juices to find out what that crinkling-bag sound is on the other side of the wall where Nas sits alone watching "Cars" for the 10-millionth time. The crinkling-bag is the bag of "choc-itts" he found in the cabinet stashed low enough for his grubby hands to reach. Sometimes, for the sake of creativity, ya let em enjoy his "choc-itts."

It's been four months since I started this blog about my weight-loss efforts, my life as a mother/wife/writer, and my struggle to stay on the sane side of sanity. I thank everyone who has EVER read an entry, even if it was just ONE entry. I greatly appreciate your time, as I know how precious it is, and to know many of you spend a few extra minutes online reading (and commenting!!) about my crazy life and "The Way I See It" helps me see that I am on the right path toward fulfilling my purpose on this earth as Natalie.

I'm not just Jay and Nas' mommy, or Babe's wife, I'm Natalie, a writer. And having readers, however few (laughing), makes it all the more fulfilling to me. So thanks. May is right around the corner and I'll be back with a vengeance...maybe I could amass 31 entries coming to 1 per day! I hope you'll stick around to read about the ins and outs of my world!
