Don't you just love going to the dreaded mailbox and pulling out something that made your trip worthwhile? Well I recently experienced such joy and it came in the form of the June issue of Glamour magazine. Have you seen it? Well, Sarah Jessica Parker graces the cover and inside she discusses her life as a wife, mother and actress BUT what I enjoyed most was her conversation about her new clothing line. I was bitten by excitement that jumped off the pages, she seems thrilled to offer affordable, fashionable clothing to women up to size 22. Size 22??!! Not only are the clothes stylish and affordable but they even dabble in the plus-size world? Did I mention I was bitten?
Her clothing line is called "Bitten" and Sarah Jessica Parker debuted a nice sampling of her pieces on a recent "Oprah" show. Everything from capris to tanks to jewelry to jackets and sweaters, everything, yes everything, is under $20. If you're like me, I can't fathom spending the money it would take to fill my wardrobe with cute clothes that FIT when my kids are always in need of something. After all, most of my day is spent at home raising kids and cleaning floors, why bother spending that money? But when I have something to go out for, even if it's just a playdate or volunteering at the church, I need to put something on that looks decent. Now, thanks to Ms. Parker and her lovely line of clothing, I can be a Bitten mommy and look fab. Does it GET any better than that??
